painting units

so I made a start on my many units for cryx starting with mcthralls as they are the biggest.  so I started with the actual unit then ill move on to the UA's and here  they are





and that's the unit, the model looks a lot better once its been cleaned up and the black has gone down for the next colours.

I'm thinking the fists will be blue,white like they have been stolen from cygnar and ret skirmishes.  the brute thralls will be red like khador as they are bigger.  the brute thralls will also be a blue grey and painted up half n half as they are ogruns and trolls that are stitched to gether they will be done next

so inbetween winning with denny1 which is obvious I managed to build all the things that arrived and they went out for a spin I did some proxying and here is what ive learnt

whilst raiders are great super high def they do need some help VS high arm stuff playing against khador it was tough

i messed up not having my whips as the charge attacks when I countered (something to remember)

placement hmmmm wasn't great either wrong eye n snap jaw weren't in the right place they were on the right flank in future they will be in the centre and skarre can hide behind them 

i forgot barry can advance deploy and the shrikes didn't get to do the awesome trample of death this was mainly all due to placement that ill have to work on as well as removing the proxies from the list lol
